HRIS
HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a software solution that helps organizations manage and streamline their HR processes. Today, Brex supports 40+ HRIS integrations that customers can connect with â a list which weâre continually adding to. Supported providers include Workday, Gusto, and BambooHR. Connecting an HRIS software can help you automate the process of user and spend management as you scale.
In terms of user management, HRIS integrations allow you to automate the act of adding, inviting, updating, or deactivating users and user details. HRIS integrations also help you with your spend management, by automating spend limit assignment, syncing entities, providing insights into spending patterns, and connecting with your ERP. Admins can use Brexâs HRIS Integration to manually or automatically invite users to their Brex accounts. This lets you invite a large group of full-time employees that youâve already established in HRIS to your Brex account. After inviting them, you can still manage those employeesâ details through their HRIS. Brex will sync the userâs first name, last name, email, title, and manager on a daily basis.

SSO
Single Sign On capabilities are offered on the Brex System. To get started customers can refer to the âSingle Sign Onâ section of this article.
Customers can also leverage Google or Microsoft logins by initiated IdP loging via the dashboard. Refer to the âEnterprise IdP Loginâ section for steps.

Okta SCIM
A System for Cross-domain Identity Management (or a SCIM) is an integration that helps you automate user access for your companyâs Brex account. It can be used to provision Brex user accounts for your employees after being added to your Okta instance. It can also disable users after their removal from your Okta instance.
To set up your SCIM integration, you will need to reach out to your Technical Consultant at Brex.
CSV upload
Account, card, and user management admins can also invite users via CSV upload if they have yet to integrate HRIS or do not integrate with HRIS at all. Refer to the CSV Upload section for further steps.
Please note that youâll need to keep all of the column headers to submit the CSV file, but only need to fill in the columns for:
First name
Last name
Email
Title
Note: Adding users to the dashboard does not mean they are invited. This will help with future setup as a budget structure can be in place before inviting them further.
