Overview

As a vendor working with a client that has a Brex account, you may receive a Brex-originated email asking you to add your payment information. This is because we allow our customers to save payment details of vendors that they plan to make payments to, provided that you (the vendor) are okay with this.

Instructions

To allow your client to save your payment information for easier future transfers, please use the link provided in the email to upload your payment information. You can always update or add additional payment information at a later date by asking your client to send you another email. If your client has told you to expect an email of this nature from Brex but you’ve yet to see it, please check your spam or junk folders. If you still can’t find the email, your client may need to have it resent. As a Brex customer, you can only view payment details for your own vendors. These payment details aren’t not accessible to other customers, vendors, or third parties.

Security

If your client hasn’t indicated that you should expect this email request, we recommend that you discuss it with them before proceeding. This helps to maintain security and prevent any potential miscommunication. There are a number of steps we have taken to ensure we are managing your payment information with the highest level of security:

  • Your vendor portal link uses HTTPS and all of your payment details are encrypted when stored
  • The link in the email you received will be valid for 72 hours.
  • The link will also expire after you’ve submitted your information or if your customer sent you a new/replacement email.
  • The token to access the vendor portal is only good for one use within the first 72 hours
  • Brex customers can only view payment details for their own vendors. These payment details aren’t not accessible to other customers, vendors, or third parties.

We encourage you to reach out directly to the Brex account holder if you encounter any additional issues or questions.
