Am I eligible to apply?

Brex is available to corporations and other forms of non-individual liability companies. Brex underwrites with Employer Identification Numbers (EINs), not Social Security Numbers, so consumers, sole proprietors, and other unregistered businesses are ineligible. Only companies organized and registered in the United States (such as C-corps, S-corps, LLCs, or LLPs) may apply for a Brex account.

Consumers, sole proprietors, unincorporated partnerships, and companies registered outside the United States are not permitted to use, or attempt to open or use, a Brex account. There are also some prohibited activities and businesses that Brex cannot support.

What are the payment terms?

Accepted Answer

The Brex credit card is paid daily from your Brex account balance automatically. If you qualify for a Brex credit card with monthly payments, your expenses are consolidated into one monthly payment that is deducted automatically from your linked account.

Will applying affect my personal credit score?

Accepted Answer

No. Applying for Brex, whether your application is approved or rejected, will never affect your personal credit score.

What rewards does Brex offer?

Accepted Answer

Brex offers best-in-class point multipliers based on the merchant category of the transaction. 1x = 1 point earned for every dollar spent. Brex points are uncapped and never expire.

Customers with a Brex Cash account that make daily payments on their card earn the highest rewards: 8x on rideshare, 5x on Travel, 4x on restaurants, 3x on eligible Apple purchases through the Brex Rewards Portal, 1.5x on ads, and 1x everything else.

For customers that identify as Tech or Life Sciences, you can enjoy rewards tailored to your industry.

Tech rewards: 8x on rideshare (e.g. Uber, Lyft, Taxi), 5x on travel booked via Brex Travel, 4x on restaurants, 3x on eligible Apple purchases through the Brex Rewards Portal, 3x on recurring software, 1x on all other transactions.

Life sciences rewards: 8x on conference tickets, 5x on travel booked via Brex Travel, 3x on eligible Apple purchases through the Brex Rewards Portal, 2x on lab supplies, 1x on all other transactions.

How do you determine my credit limit?

Brex offers credit limits that are dynamic by design. Instead of checking your personal credit score or FICO, we protect your personal information and instead base credit limits on your company’s financial information. This could include your company’s available cash, spending patterns, and credit history.
